<p>Dr. Mowafa Said Househ, PhD, is a researcher, innovator, social entrepreneur, teacher, and author of health informatics in the Arab World affiliated with Hamad Bin Khalifa University, College of Science and Engineering, Qatar Foundation, Qatar. His primary research interests cover the use of information and communication technologies to empower patients and clinicians, with a special focus on the applications of Artificial Intelligence, Social Media and Mobile Technologies in Healthcare. Dr. Househ is also an adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Health Information Science, University of Victoria, Canada.</p><p>Dr. Elizabeth Borycki, is the Director of the Global Laboratory for Digital Health Innovation and a Professor at the School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria, Canada.&nbsp;&nbsp; She is also a Clinician Scientist with the Michael Smith Foundation and a co-lead of the NSERC Visual and Automated Analytics graduate training program in Canada.&nbsp; Dr. Borycki research foci include health technology safety, virtual care (i.e. mobile health, telehealth, home healthcare) and clinical informatics focusing on health information systems used by health professionals.&nbsp; Dr. Borycki is an international expert and is known for her work in developing safety methods, solutions and policy.&nbsp; Elizabeth holds a doctorate degree in Health Policy, Management and Evaluation from the University of Toronto.</p><p> Dr. Andre Kushniruk, PhD, is Director and Professor of the School of Health Information Science at the University of Victoria in Canada. Dr. Kushniruk conducts research in a number of areas including evaluation of the effects of technology, human-computer interaction in health care, as well as cognitive science. His work is known internationally and he has published widely in the area of health informatics. He focuses on developing new methods for the evaluation of advanced information technologies. Dr. Kushniruk’s research includes the investigation of the relationship between human factors and artificial intelligence. He holds undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology, as well as a M.Sc. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology.<br></p><p></p>
