Steven Wu, MD is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an attending physician in the Division of Nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital. As the founding Directors, Dr. Wu founded and led Interventional Nephrology as well as Vascular Access Programs for more than a decade in the Divisions of Nephrology and Vascular Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.&nbsp; He has won “The Athanasoulis Award for Excellence in Teaching” at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a former councilor at American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN), and the co-chair of the 7th and 8th ASDIN annual scientific meetings. Dr. Wu has edited and authored several books in the field of Interventional Nephrology and vascular access management. Dr. Wu graduated from Wuhan Tongji Medical University in China. He completed his Nephrology fellowship at the Harvard Joint program of Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by a Vascular Interventional Radiology fellowship in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.<p></p>

<p>Sanjeeva Kalva, MD is the Chief of Interventional Radiology in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He is a world-renowned expert in minimally invasive approaches to treating liver cancer. Dr. Kalva has published multiple research papers and book chapters in the peer-reviewed literature. His research focuses on the effectiveness of minimally invasive procedures to treat liver cancer, venous thromboembolism, portal hypertension, venous diseases and pulmonary vascular disease including arteriovenous malformations. Dr. Kalva has won several awards for his work in interventional radiology including the Outstanding Performance Award and the Dr. Athanasoulis Award for Excellence in Teaching, both at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an active member of a number of professional associations including the Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology and has also been named a fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.</p>

<p>&nbsp;Chieh Suai Tan, is the Head of Department of the Department of Renal Medicine in Singapore General Hospital and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Duke-National University of Singapore School of Medicine. He did his fellowship on Interventional Nephrology in Massachusetts General Hospital under Dr Steven Wu. Upon his return, he set up the multi-disciplinary interventional nephrology program in Singapore General Hospital and had trained a number of nephrologists in interventional nephrology both locally and around the region. Dr Tan has received research grants from the National Kidney Foundation of Singapore and the Singapore-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) for development of novel devices for dialysis access interventions and is actively involved in clinical trials. He is an active member of a number of professional associations in Asia, including the Asia Pacific Society of Dialysis and Society of Dialysis Access Specialist.</p>

<p>Dr Gerald A Beathard graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas receiving both an MD and a PhD degree. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Pathology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology and Interventional Nephrology. Dr Beathard has been involved with endovascular procedures performed for dialysis vascular access maintenance procedures since 1985. He has published more than 100 articles in peer reviewed medical journals, writes 14 topics for UpToDate, has authored 62 book chapters and 12 monographs. He is currently a full time member of the Staff of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where is involved with the Interventional Nephrology program.</p><p></p>

<p>Dr. Harold Park is an interventional radiologist in Dallas, Texas and is affiliated with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center where he most recently served as the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology. He received his medical degree from Drexel University, completed residency training in diagnostic radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, and completed advanced fellowship training in interventional radiology at Emory University.</p><div><p></p></div>
